Students and faculty of the MSc in Shipping Management, University of Piraeus had the privilege of attending an exceptional session hosted by INTERCARGO, which provided valuable insights into the key stakeholders of the maritime sector.
As an Associate Member of INTERCARGO, our Postgraduate Program is proud to strengthen its ties with the industry, reinforcing our commitment to professional relevance and active engagement with the maritime community.
We were honored to welcome Mr. Dimitris Monioudis, Vice-Chairman of INTERCARGO’s Technical Committee, who delivered an insightful presentation on the association’s mission and its vital role in promoting quality and unity within the Dry Bulk shipping sector.
The session concluded with an interesting discussion, during which students actively engaged by asking thoughtful questions, exploring INTERCARGO’s consultative role with the International Maritime Organization and analyzing current challenges that the maritime industry is facing.
