Our London field trip continued with two outstanding presentations by INTERCARGO and Lloyd’s Register. It was an honor for our program to have Mr. Dimitris Monioudis, TechCom Vice-Chairman, introducing our students to the foundations of the association and explain how INTERCARGO has been uniting and promoting quality in Dry Bulk shipping. Our students actively engaged in the session, posing many questions and seeking clarifications on INTERCARGO’s consulting role at the IMO.
Furthermore, our students had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Patty Apostolopoulou, Marine Client Manager and learn about Lloyd’s Register’s history and the services they provide. It was a truly unique experience, providing exceptional insights into the leading provider of classification and its perspectives on efficiency, sustainability, and resilience in the ocean economy.
