Our London’s field trip continuous to Clarksons‘ main office, a familiar name in our maritime journey where we were welcomed and given a brief introduction on the role Clarksons has in the shipping world as well as their passion for doing business responsibly and ethically.
Following this insightful discussion, we had the privilege of hearing from Clarksons Research‘s team and Mrs. Sarah Holden, getting a closer look at how information is collected and data analysed for diverse ship types, markets or commodities and how this is of essence to the shipping market players. The role of data metrics and analytics in forming successful, ethical, and environmentally friendly policies was then explained with examples.
